Description
In this assignment time was designed in interaction between main roles and disturbers. Disturber is a human figure without identity, its role is to disturb. Disturber controller time by controlling length of actions of main actors.
Final performance was combination of improvisation and the set of rules. There was no script, length of performance was not set, performers decided by them selves when to stop.
Main idea was reflection of everyday life through performance as illustration of reality, where life of each person sometimes depends on something which can not be controlled, in this case disturber without identity. Is there something to be done?
In our rehearsals and experiments we were playing with different kind of methods of disturbance. We disturbed ourselves in performing by doing push ups, running in a circle or running up and down the stairs, while we were reading our script. Finally we decided to present Nothing to be done. Which is Waiting for Godot meal. Disturbers had to feed main actors and give them water, there was no rule about amount of food they suppose to give. Basically they have been feeding main actors oppressive - compulsive. We manage to have two parallel actions which shaped time in Nothing could be done.
Reflections
We had great time by playing with script, thinking about time and directing our ideas. We also get to know each other by working as a team. We experienced differences in approaches.
